Siu Ping was born in Hong Kong and lived in New York most of her life. She graduated SUNY Albany with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in 1985 and worked as a computer consultant in the financial industry for 12 years. Her second career began after graduating from Tri-State College of Acupuncture with a M.S. in Acupuncture in 2000.
Siu Ping did a 300-hour post-graduate Acupuncture Orthopedics and Rehabilitative Medicine program under Andrew Nugent-Head at TSCA. She is also certified in Usui Reiki I and II and Cranial Sacral Therapy. She is currently studying Qi Gong with Master Robert Peng.
She has been practicing Chinese Medicine since 2000. Siu Ping’s healing work is firmly rooted in all aspects of Chinese medicine which includes acupuncture, qi gong healing, herbs, nutrition and all based on a strong Daoist philosophy.
Siu Ping was raised in a traditional Chinese home within an American community which has given her valuable insight on how to effectively integrate Chinese and Western philosophy, medicine and culture.
Siu’s goal is to heal through balancing Qi and each session is customized by uniquely assessing each individual and matching the right tools and methods to bring about the desired change. Creating balance and free flow of qi means experiencing truer health.
